Stress, stress, and more stress. So much so, that I have to be on medication for the rest of my life. The compensation, up until recently has been garbage. They demand absolute perfection with impossible metrics to meet and a level of micromanaging I have never seen before. Only good is free service
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Every other provider in the market pays at least $5 an hour more. And Spectrum absolutely does not care about experience or service. Someone could get hired today, at today's starting wage, fly thru progression, and be making more than a tech with 15 years at the company.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Realizing that human beings work for them, not robots. Humans that have, or would like a home life. That the people in the field aren't complete morons and are TRYING to do what is asked of them. I never worked for company that fought me so hard just to do my job. And that THEY don't know everything
