One of the only jobs where I have not been micromanaged. The management trusts me and treats me as an adult. Just like anyone they aren't perfect but I genuinely feel they try hard to make this a comfortable environment.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
understanding that we are people, not robots, numbers or statistics. If you value your time outside of the office, or a work pace that is healthy, stay far away.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Charter treats their employees and contractors very badly.

charter will only pay you to get you in the door. after that, every promotion is only a % of your current pay. so if you are underpaid, it will take you FOREVER to receive your worth, and it will likely not be worth the cost to your health and well being

What are some of the best things about your team?
great people on the teams, but the leadership needs to remember that they too are also humans, not far superior beings because they have authority that was in most cases, not earned

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
not a lot of positives, sadly. Charter takes too hard of a stance about the business side and not enough on the human side. no remote policy and if you need any sort of accommodation, they require explicit and detailed medical information. Even my DR said they didn't need to know what they asked

They do not want to change.

What did you like most about the interview process?
Recruiters are nice, but they don't have exposure to 100% of the job. So, be ready for plenty of work assignments that contradict the job description, but with no extra pay

Good workers and good salary

I love that I come in and choose how I get to spend my time, what tasks and projects I complete are done my way. I love to hop from thing to thing and work in my own weird chaotic way and because I am not micromanaged I am able to do so. It makes me feel in control of my time.

No one can improve anything to this company unless they change their CEO, CTO and VPs and so on

too much focus on productivity, cutting costs and unrealistic deliverables. as much as I appreciate the drive, Charter absolutely sacrifices morals and ethics to get the job done. Unacceptable on a human level
