The employees are here to do their best to service their customers and their direct reports, however it is very metric driven and very little people inspired. It is said that some stay here because they have been here too long to leave. That is a tough way to live one's life.
What did you like most about the interview process?
it was a conversation as much as an interview. It was about what I can offer, and what I can expect to receive for my effort.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Too much to explain here, however in a nut shell I would putting profit above people is not best for long term success. No matter what the stock price says today.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They want to do the right thing for their direct reports and customers, however to a large degree they are hand cuffed by a unseen playbook. This causes they to not do the obvious until they are told to do so.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
This in not about the financial compensation but more so about the individual contributions that are devalued. Currently we are so top down directed, the ideas of the skilled employees they hire are undervalued and reduces self worth. Doing so only creates good soliders but very limited leaders.
