Retail Sales Consultants were never included in the $20 per hour minimum wage. They pay Call Center salespeople $20 plus commission now. We average $13 per hour plus commission. Not nearly equal treatment or pay yet they boast of ALL employees starting at $20. It's a lie.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Not a whole lot. No one fights for Retail employees.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Prices are being raised heavily several times a year, yet our company rarely if ever innovates.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We are all aiming for meeting or exceeding goals. It helps us, it helps our store manager.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are like family. We have each other's backs and we are all in for our goals... It helps us all.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Our store manager was the best. Our new manager is just as good. It makes this non communication, communications company somewhat bearable.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If the company would truthfully and honestly portray the pay disparity between ALL other hourly Charter employees and Retail salespeople. They boast in all of their company communications that the minimum pay is $20 per hour for ALL employees, which is completely untrue.
