I am an original Charter employee (20 plus years). Company use to care about there employees and even cared about maintaining customers. Now, it's all about numbers and that's it. We are just numbers, from metrics to employees. This company needs a country wide union, let the employees have a say.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Nothing. Good luck with positivity. Doesn't exist.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Bring on a union. Let the employees have a say and protect the workers. Not the heads that push everyone around like they're high and mighty. Sick and tired of hearing "you can be replaced"
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Unionize. Rid of the bean counters. Better pay for guys who actually work and not number fudging to make there score cards great. Some guys don't even go up the chain just so they stay on top because the don't do cb work
What are some of the best things about your team?
Not much. No communication from the higher ups, little to no supervisor contact. Supervisor sits home all day while we try to get a hold of him with no answer back. The guys that are the same as me work together because we don't have a supervisor per say.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Undervalued because we are just a number. A fair pay should exist. Been here 20 years and guys with 5-8 years get paid the same as I do. And it's not from reviews,it's because the company has changed from nothing to BBT to FTs and made guys go to where they think you should be. Screwed me over.
