Great people at the local levels BUT upper management needs to listen to the frontline and they need to spend some time in the field.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Great guys that are very knowledgeable in their field, always ready to help anyone at any given time.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
They need to listen to the frontline, we try to tell them about the things that need improvement but it ALWAYS falls upon deaf ears.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
The team doing interviews doesnt really know what I am capable of doing, they dont ask questions about field knowledge, its always pointless questions with no wrong answer.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Spectrum doesnt really care about the customers, their focus is on metrics and stock holders. Make your customers and employees happy and in turn, your stock holders will be happy as well.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Dont just ask the employees what needs to change, listen to the complaints with the intent of creating a better work place. Actually change the things that 99% of the employees are complaining about.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Pay people fair wages. If you increase the starting wage by $6 an hour then EVERY employee should get this $6 an hour increase. Sadly this is not the case, we now have new employees making more money than some of our experienced employees. HUGE MORAL PLUNGE !!!
