What is the best part about your compensation package?
We receive stock benefits after one year of employment. Many of my coworkers work the bare minimum of 20 hours just so they can have healthcare.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I've worked at two stores and covered shifts at many others, and honestly these are some of the best people I've ever worked with. Always a pleasant experience with friendly people.
What makes you most happy at work?
The people, not just my team but the customers. It's so nice to see people that come in on a regular basis who genuinely want to know how you're doing and are willing to offer a smile.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
My store in particular is generally understaffed for the sheer amount of business we do. It makes running a shift comfortably incredibly difficult. Because of this we've been having trouble maintaining a positive environment. When we're staffed appropriately everyone is much more comfortable.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They genuinely want feedback to ensure that we are happy with our job and how things are functioning. After training sessions they want to know what went well and what could be better. Our district manager is always asking what could sbux improve on.
