Starbucks keeps their executive team very visible to partners, and they seem like nice people.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Starbucks has a lot of different perks like Headspace and Spotify, and they do offer great insurance.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Starbucks is a socially progressive company that is open about fair treatment and compensation for everyone regardless of race, gender, or sexuality. People are allowed to be exactly who they are at work without fear of being fired or discriminated against.
What did you like most about the interview process?
My manager did ask me several questions about my work experience, but they weren't too hard or crazy. When I was promoted the interview was a lot tougher and I was in front of two store managers and the district manager, which was stressful.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We're all encouraged to be our authentic selves and to have fun at work, so it's easy to have a good time on a shift (assuming you exclude the customers). There's not that many partners at most stores (~25-30) so you get to know people well.
