So far, my experience has been positive. There are a number of areas that can be improved upon to increase the efficiency of the teams and the product itself could use a facelift with an expanded formula language, but overall, things are positive as long as they can keep selling the product.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The consistent feedback with the one-on-one weekly meetings with my direct supervisor makes it very easy to get direct feedback about my performance.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Being single with no kids, the medical and dental coverage is pretty inexpensive. Also, the option for additional bonuses make working overtime palatable.
What makes you most happy at work?
being able to work from home makes it very easy to meet family goals and issues as well as offering a flexible work environment.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The ability to work remotely makes the environment flexible and allows for resources to put themselves into a location that they know works for them.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love being able to keep my own hours and being able to set my own schedule. As long as I meet me deliverables on time, I can keep my own hours and that flexibility is key.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Some consultants are given long projects with large allocations that are under non-bill status. This status means that projects are allocated for large chunks of our week that are not bonus eligible, through no fault of the individual consultant.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The team members that I have worked around over my first year have always been willing to answer any question and help out with anything that I need. I have never heard someone say that they are too busy to answer a question.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership lets employees play by 'big boy rules'. They set employees up for success, and give employees the ability to control a lot of their daily tasks and schedule. As long as goals are met, they don't micromanage and let employees do what is best for their own personal situations.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I have never met an employee that did not take time out of their day to answer a question that I have, no matter how complicated. My mentor has been answering random questions since I started and I have never waited more than a day for an answer to a question.
