Clearly defining what it means to put customers first instead of letting it go rampant. What's happened as a result is toxicity to the point of making people hate their jobs and departments infighting because everyone is putting out fires.
Leadership should ensure that existing staff are being paid as well as the rates on new job postings and that movement and roles are clear. They also should stop giving jobs to people they know without giving the opportunity to others internally for the roles. Look at your existing people.
