The PIP bonus program and benefits
I enjoyed the personalities and intelligent interactions. It wasn't intimidating as much as it was engaging and inspiring. Err, with a bit of nail-biting thrown in. ;)
I appreciate the leadership team's balance of informed, fiscally conservative leadership (being cash positive during COVID has been significant stress reliever), and their fostering of a people-oriented, conscientious, and compassionate culture.
Interacting with my team, first. Second would be solving problems. I like the challenge. Third, how it feels when multiple teams are successful bringing a product to market, or maintaining a large product over time, and feeling like we're doing meaningful, profitable work.
Friendliness. A lack of cut-throat atmosphere that exists in many corporate environments. HealthStream still has a bit of the late 90s startup feel left in its bones, but is still a very productive environment. There's a generous southern charm. I've described the atmosphere as sweet more than once!
We're diligent, dedicated, thorough, and fun. I genuinely consider us friends just as much as a working team. We have a loyalty between us that only comes from earned trust, and a rapport that extends beyond professionalism; That's important for a team that may work together for many years.
