The Executive Team exudes a positive, open, and communicative approach to building the company for our customers and for the development opportunities of its employees.

They really do make an effort to keep us updated, whether it's good or bad news. It's very clear that every stakeholder on the leadership team is passionate about the HealthStream vision-to improve the quality of healthcare by developing the people who deliver care (both internally and externally).

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Relating to the people who work for them. Understanding what they don't know by reaching outside their immediate circle deliberately. Town Halls are nice, but they're never really a dialogue. Calling HSTMers is nice, but starting at the top of the seniority chart is a bad optic and a bad strategy.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Quarterly incentives are a great way to collaborate across the organization and receive an extra bonus for efforts that help improve processes and outcomes.

Fair compensation and health benefits that are less like penalties.

Absolute need to modernize benefits - maternity leave is very lacking, and makes it potentially very financially difficult for moms to take the time they need to recover and spend important time bonding with baby. Also a desperate need to offer some kind of coverage forfertility treatments.

Unfotunately HealthStream does not pay a competitive wage. Compensation needs to be comparable to market standard and cost of living. Raises are more dependent on budget for the department than individual performance.

HealthStream dose not pay a competitive wage. A large portion of employees I have seen leave, leave due to pay. 401k match is heavily tied to company revenue for the year, which would be appropriate for a startup. Raises are more dependent on budget for the department than individual performance.

Although the corporate culture, workplace and people are amazing, the pay and benefits are a bit lacking and turnover is high. I know of many people who have left for comparable jobs that paid much more.

Ever since I started at HealthStream 4+ years ago, my team's dynamic is so positive, supportive and enjoyable to work with! My teammates are always willing to lend a helping hand, bounce ideas off of one another, share best practices, and cheer each other on.

The culture and people interaction always have a positive vibe.

Although I work remotely, I still feel apart of the HealthStream family. Every time I'm in the office, my colleagues are always so friendly, even if they don't remember me or know who I am.

Everyone is welcoming, and just a good warm feeling. It sort of a family environment. HealthStream just gets it. They understand and value hard work of their employees but also know that we have lives outside of work.

Although it was nerve wrecking, I enjoyed going into the office and interviewing (face-to-face) with a few stakeholders. Once I witnessed the team and office dynamic, I knew HealthStream was a good fit for me.

The benefits package desperately needs to be addressed and modernized. Maternity leave is appalling and frankly offensive at one paid week.
