I did not have very much experience when I first started at HealthStream, however this company has allowed me to grow so much-both personally and professionally. My leaders and teammates (both current and past) have supported me in so many ways as I worked my way up the ladder.

Unfotunately HealthStream does not pay a competitive wage. Compensation needs to be comparable to market standard and cost of living. Raises are more dependent on budget for the department than individual performance.

Although the corporate culture, workplace and people are amazing, the pay and benefits are a bit lacking and turnover is high. I know of many people who have left for comparable jobs that paid much more.

Compensation is not competitive, hasn't been for years. With the addition of Amazon in Nashville (whom we've lost multiple employees to) they need to consider retaining their workforce and paying competitively.

I feel valued as an employee at HealthStream. The salary is fine, but think HSTM may have to get a little more aggressive in salary (or benefits) to keep high performers since Nashville as a growing city with big name companies coming in.

Extremely hard working, supportive, collaborative. Across the organization, everyone helps each other. There is no flying under the radar. There is accountability and jumping into help even if it's "not your job". Teams also get to know each other on a personal level, there is empathy and respect.
