I enjoy the work I do and the people I work with. I have been with the company for many years and have seen it grow into something much bigger than where it started. This company is fast paced and does not allow for downtime. I think this would be fine if the pay were more on par with the hours.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Meeting the individuals I would work with and gauging how well I fit with the culture.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Transparency, communication, and engagement are values the leadership team embodies very well and is greatly appreciated by staff.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Engagement with each other, whether it is during a meeting or over happy hour. There is always a sense of unity and togetherness.
What makes you most happy at work?
Feeling connected with my team and seeing a project come to fruition successfully. We all work hard but it is the pride and joy of seeing a project succeed that is most rewarding.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My coworkers care. They are dedicated and driven individuals who work hard and care about the work they do. They also care about the people they work; their lives, families, etc. Many have referred to teams as a second family.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
HealthStream dose not pay a competitive wage. A large portion of employees I have seen leave, leave due to pay. 401k match is heavily tied to company revenue for the year, which would be appropriate for a startup. Raises are more dependent on budget for the department than individual performance.
