It is a mixed bag. The pay is good, the base schedule is good. The company does invest in internal promotions. But I don't feel the higher level management is personally invested in the day to day success of the teams, or in fostering a productive and cooperative culture.

My team members are great. My leadership peers may be great, too, but they are victims of behind-the-scenes petty politics that hinder the overall success of the operation.

There is a counterproductive culture of non-accountability which greatly frustrates efforts to get buy-in across departments for the sake of the operation. It is bad enough that it actually stifles efforts within my own department to improve processes.
