What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Hoshizaki America President needs to execute and not give in to his leadership team as he gives in to the whining when people don't get what they want.

Involving the right people in decision making and communicating those decisions in a timely fashion with an opportunity to ask questions. Call out negative behaviors and not allow those behaviors to affect team dynamics

Be more transparent and when a decision is made stop going back and forth on it. Last years' issue with the shut down dates was horrible for the employees on the floor and it was very clear that Senior leadership does not care about people spending time with their families.

I feel my contributions are being undervalued because of my level of experience.

I do not feel undervalued, however, with the amount of responsibilities that have been added to my plate, along with the experience and skillsets that are brought to the table, it would be fair to state that being underpaid is an understatement.

stop pushing the best place to work so much & implement actual changes that affect the culture better like more flexible working environments, true performance process, competitive pay package vs. doing a bunch of small things like holiday gifts, gift cards, etc. that become an expectation

I think I work in a department that could accommodate a WFH balance for everyone. I understand the idea of having proper coverage, but if as a department we worked to have people cross trained we could be in better position. We have basically no cross training as of now.

There is a lot of emphasis on the happiness of the employees in manufacturing. I wish that there was an equal effort for employees in the office.

Now that the company is struggling more financially, it is very clear that they care about money over people. Also, leadership doesnt practice what they preach. All the DDI training in the world isnt going to help this. We were on our way to making improvements but have slid backwards.
