Valuing the lowest level employees at all. Fair compensation. Appropriate staffing.
The company needs to take better care of all of us so we're not all so stressed and snappish all the time.
Too much stress. Too few baristas. Too much arrogance from district managers and corporate. The "just say yes" culture is a morale-killer.
The pay at Starbucks needs to be at least $15/hour for regular baristas, and the company needs more baristas on the floor at all times.
Nothing? My entire experience at Starbucks has felt like the baristas and shifts fighting managers and corporate. We had a shift supervisor who did ALL the work our manager SHOULD have been doing, and our bully of a district manager refused to promote him and pay him for the work he was doing.
