I have worked for Advance auto for 6 years part time and every time they hire a new employee off the street they bring them in making more than I do while giving me 30 cent raises a year, but the guy hired yesterday is making more than I am while I help to train!!!

Well a lot of my coworkers spend more time in the parking lot working on their cars than they do in the store!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I would feel better if I knew that the guy I have to help train next week was not making more than I am after 6 years!!
