I think Elsevier has a lot of potential but still acts too traditional to get to the next level. I understand that change is on the way and that change takes time but right now it feels slows, it lacks true innovation. We need to be more proactive and lead the charge better to be true leaders
Science and research driven; somewhat diverse and international.
More innovation; younger employees, fresh thoughts; real experts
open, friendly, self-starter culture, trusting
More I&D work, flexibility, networking
Bonus, lots of vacation days, some flexibility in working hours
lots of holidays, good salary, bonus, participation in RELX stocks,
There's 2 women of colour and 3 women in total. The CEO is warm and humane.
Extreme flexibility and trust I receive. i feel like I am the owner of my work and time.
They are some women on the team and they seem to be active into certain important topics like I&D.
From different countries but could be more diverse ethnicity wise; collaboration is high; people are willing to help and generally warm/welcoming.
Quite high salary - above market average. Also have a decent bonus package. 13th 14th months and participation in company's stock which companies matches by 20%
I want to change roles and go to I&D but opportunities are currently very limited and my current job has lost its fire with WFH/Covid as I no longer see my clients.
Recent I&D developments make it that we talk more about it at work, that's a plus. Otherwise, I'd say flexibility in work, WFH, and career opportunities (although you really have to fetch for yourself!)
I'm not sure. I think the way the business is set up penalises and damages employee relationships. Working in RSS for example, the lack of investment into a better helpdesk damanges relationships between AM and CC with unclear roles and tasks.
I like the leadership team is being led by a woman, who knows what she is doing, is business orientated while being positive and empathetic altogether. I like that the team has other women but would like to see more people of color as there is only 1 thus far.
