I sometimes wonder what my manager and manager's manager do... They like announcing things, doing meetings and best of all: delegating all the actual work without even trying to make it easy on us. Poor leadership.
I've been told that people who are willing to be moved around are more likely to be promoted and nominated for compensation reviews. What about the specialists who want to excel at what they do? Are they not equally valuable? Especially those in critical positions or business units?
