Although I'm underpaid and its clear (new Directors are brought in 25-30% higher than I'm paid and several of my team with lower titles are compensated higher than I am), I do love the company vibe and am looking for opportunities for a new role that will get me to a fair level of pay.

It is casual but fast-paced. Everyone is pushed hard but not to an unreasonable level.

They're down to earth people (for the most part) and do all genuinely care about people as much as business.

I love the fast pace and constant change - it keeps things interesting. I realize this is not the right pace for everyone but it works for me.

In recent years Fanatics has taken the initiative to compensate my team more fairly compared to other markets. This has raised the level of professionalism and the quality of our output.

The product itself is fun and it carries over into culture. I feel valued as a person and not a number, even when office politics make me feel like my team as a whole is often ignored.

My team specifically (PCM) is scrappy. We get little support because neither Ops nor Corporate want to claim us and refuse to improve or enhance our workspace but the team makes the most of it and has really tried to bring in the Fanatics culture, at our own expense, time and work. Everyone tries.

Peers at other companies in the city with the same/similar title and tenure are making 15-20% more than I do. I value some of the non-financial benefits of working at Fanatics but there does come a point - soon- at which my expenses mean I'll have to move on, especially at current inflation rates.

The people I work with, for the most part. Working with Tech is horrible but any day I don't have to work with anyone there is a great day! Most people here truly care about making our business better, more appealing to fans and a bigger player in the marketplace and we share those goals.

I'm severely underpaid for my title compared to others with the same title at other local companies. For over 5 years I've received a less than 2% raise per year, making my take-home less now than 5 years ago. It has never been evaluated and I don't have an option to request that it be.
