I think one thing that sets HealthStream apart is how accessible their executive team is. You feel like they listen to you and offer guidance to grow.

Under normal circumstances overall most individuals receive merit based increases each year. You understand what is expected to get PIP and merit increases. Unfortunately, this year we wont be getting merit increases due to the pandemic.

You are interviewed by your future managers and peers. It makes the first day a little less difficult as you have already met them. You also as an employee can see who that person would fit into your team.

Knowing that I can accomplish what is set out for me to get done as well as the ability to learn new tasks and help become a back up on various tasks for co-workers when they need help or take a vacation.

I enjoy that HealthStream feels like a family, We have been faced with some hard external factors (pandemic, tornadoes, etc.). The company has done a nice job of making sure all employees are well and giving back to the communities we serve with StreamingGood often initiated by the employees.

We are able to share ideas and strategies in an open environment without fear of judgement but anticipation of constructive criticism. My team in particularly works well together and balances each other's strengths and weaknesses. We are all willing to pick up the slack as needed and lend a hand.
