My experience has been great up until a few months ago when our VP left and the department has become very divided. I see that younger co-workers are favored and get to have more freedom than others and choose the time the work and the days they want to come in. Promotions given without degrees.
Great benefits, they can definitely improve on pay. Used to be a great place to work in my department, but with all the turnover in upper management it has been hard. The new VP is very unrelatable, and keeps the team divided and is not friendly to their employees. Talks openly about them to othe
Hoshizak is a great place to work and with great benefits. However, in my department, work-life balance is poor. During month &quarter end close I am working until almost 10pm every night trying to meet our close deadline. This is why remote working full time would be beneficial and productive
When I get to see a friend/co-worker.
Low insurance premiums and deductibles.
Everyone works well together, and they help each other out
Everyone supports each other and is always willing to help.
If I get to see the few co-workers that I trust.
They care for the employees and do what they believe is best for the employees.
sense of achievement and sense of responsibility. Having stuff to do to keep me busy.
I am not paid to match the market. Better pay would make me feel better.
I enjoy working from home because I am more productive with less interruptions and I can concentrate better.
Employees needed to be treated fairly. Also, the whole team should not be punished for the few that do not do their jobs.
The company as a whole seems pretty good. I see many changes to help hourly employees with childcare and for the most part everyone seems nice and helpful.
The leadership team apparently is trying to make this the best place to work. I just think there is a lot of improvements internally that need to be addressed.
The pay is no even close to the cost of living these days. Pay increases are very minimal. You almost have to leave the company and come back to get higher pay.
I feel like some of the upper management (i.e. President and VP) may have more interest invested but departmentally that is lacking. Benefits are excellent and I love the remote working, just wish it was 100% remote.
Relate with their direct reports and not talk openly about them behind their backs for everyone to hear. That is very unprofessional. Support working from home/hybrid. Understand that cost of living is high and give raises to help employees afford to support their families, afford groceries & gas
I like that we can work remotely 3 days a week, but it is more productive for us to work remotely full time. Accounting is the only department that is limited to when they can take vacation time due to month and quarter end close and inventory. A benefit to offset that will be full time remote work
