I used to be happy to come to work, but lately I feel stressed and anxious.
I enjoy the family feel I have with most everyone I come in contact with. The environment currently is a little shaky as there are many upset employees regarding the discontinuation of the hybrid work schedules.
The benefit package is fantastic, however, losing the benefit of being able to work a hybrid schedule is disappointing and feels like it is devaluing my compensation package. I will now in theory be making less, as my expenses will increase.
Having the hybrid schedule. I like the idea of having "core days" where everyone comes in and collaborates and then also having a couple days at home to be able to really focus and get the admin side of work done.
Understand that some employees were hired with the expectation of working a hybrid schedule and some would have chosen employment elsewhere if that wasn't going to be a perk that remained. If this was a perk that was not meant to be permanent, this should have been communicated when hired.
I enjoy collaborating with others and find it beneficial to completing certain projects. However, I do find it beneficial to both myself and Hoshizaki to be able to work a hybrid schedule. I am able to better focus on tasks that require little to no collaboration when I am at home.
