inclusive leadership and open communications
CEO leadership and the care for employees and the way this change is influencing ELT behaviors though some ELT members behaviors are still questionable
When we get the trust & support from senior leaders that do not try to micromanage the work done. We hire strong leaders at every level - empower them to do their best job with clear delivery expectations.
Greater accountability for results to meet the region that they are supposed to support - meeting local/regional business needs does not demonstrate alignment - constantly fire fighting the same issues !! Without escalations, job doesn't get done, business needs not addressed.
Overall rewards (comp & benefits) are market competitive, however, the amount of hours we have to put to manage the business & complexity in securing support from cross-teams is far from market norms. We still perform because we are passionate about the work that we do.
I like the authentic leadership of the CEO and some of the ELT members who walk the talk. Unfortunately, not all the ELT members are consistently seen to be practicing this. Boundaries between teams continue to create challenges on the ground for management teams on the ground to do their best work.
