I don't believe that our job roles are benchmarked frequently. New hire compensation I have trust in, existing staff members less so. Why is there such resistance to salary banding? It works for other locations and businesses.

Elsevierians help each other. It's rare to find someone that only has their own interests at heart. We are all more effective as a team and that's how we operate. I also see respect for each other and genuine care of each other.
