Leadership communicates company goals well and encourages all employees to take an active part in generating new ideas to help overall performance.
There are significant pay difference among our team that seem to go unaddressed. Without pay bands available for each position, it's difficult to know where you are in your compensation trajectory. Salaries are ultimately not competitive enough to keep employees from looking elsewhere.
Our team meets and communicates frequently so it never feels as if you're working in a silo. We've developed friendships through our work which helps create a fun, energetic environment. It also allows a safe environment to vent frustrations or to make mistakes without fear of judgement.
Since COVID, there feels to be more of an emphasis on that we have lives outside of work and that we should be encouraged to find a better work/life balance. Summer Fridays, being able to move into a remote role, unlimited time off all allow me to feel disconnected from work when I really need it.
