The stock options were a really nice perk, especially with the company going public. I feel like my compensation package in general is slightly above market, not excellent, but the stock helps as the price (hopefully) continues to climb
They are very visible, active, and transparent in the work that they are going. I don't think I've been at a company where the CEO provides as much direct access to their work and connects as much with individual employees as Mark Mader does.
The progression and time/challenge at each stage of the interview is what I expect when applying to a good company. The interview process was thorough, but not unnecessarily difficult or taxing. I felt like they gave me all the opportunities to prove my self.
I love that balance is an important part of the culture here. There is not a tremendous pressure to work more and work beyond your means. When people work more than 40 hours, it feels like they're doing it because they want to, not because they feel forced to
