We've got consistent, clear communications from our leadership from top down. We hear from our ceo internally via video often (great). Our immediate leadership (mgr/dir) stay in contact and encourage all-day meetings for people to stay connected.

Making Smartsheet a great place to work for employees. It was the best in Washington at one point. It's now far, far from that. And new execs will say things like "I don't want to hear about the good old days of Smartsheet" instead of "tell me how we can make it a great place to work again".

Respect that good senior engineers are self-motivated and self-organizing. Measuring productivity with burndown charts is not useful and a little insulting.

We are compensated with a good base, healthy bonus, RSU's which allows us to either retain or liquidate which gives us a nice "income". I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the 401k match.

The company does not pay the employee fairly . For example, the developer would get the bonus up to 15% where the QA get only up to 10% bonus and this is not publicly announce. The company should pay all employee equally.

I feel undervalued because my work isn't reflected in businesses plans, nor has my manager talked with me about my career trajectory, objectives, goals, etc. I would feel better about my compensation if we had an open discussion, looked at the numbers together, and set goals to get me there.

It feels like upper management has recently become more reactionary instead of being proactive in their decision-making. Also, maybe as a consequence of the previous statement, feels like they say one thing, but do something different.

Incompetent execs have been hired that are turning the culture into something similar to Amazon, which is widely disliked by its employees. I'm not sure it can be improved at this stage... is it really feasible to fire all the new execs and bring back all the people who Smartsheet great?
