Enrolling employees on the front lines in business-critical decisions. USM for example, was rolled out way too quickly and the pause in true-ups was done without considering how that could affect employees. Half of my team is looking for a job right now because they can't make money.

Transparency and consistency. Things are too wishy washy here and political. People only get moved up from being buddy-buddy with their managers. And in fact, it doesn't seam like their is that much upward mobility in general from my point of view.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
comp plan is based on quarter and very competitive. As a leader the comp is similar and provides a healthy ramp period to allow me time to learn.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Comp is #1 reason I'm looking elsewhere. They cut ESPP, cut stock grants, make it tougher to achieve OTE etc.

Our OTEs are about 20% below what I hear (firsthand) is out there. I will say that our variable compensation is generous, but overall the pay is on the low side compared to other software vendors out there.

Pay relative to others in similar roles in the company as well as other companies is low. 10% bonus is very low in tech from what I have researched and the company seems to be no longer giving out stock. Compensation raises is limited to % , treating people as a number.

All the managers seemed super likable and very human. Although it was an interview it was calm and relaxing.

It was open and conversational though I think that was primarily driven by my own conversational style which allowed people to be more open. Interviews are either a great conversation or they are a tedious experience, generally-speaking.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Company is making many missteps with pricing model, chasing short term profit for long term churn and brand damage. Eroding customer trust.

Have treated customers terribly by bulldozing them with the new GTM model when it clearly wasn't ready, meanwhile gaslighting the (internal) staff about it.

Transitioning customers to USM and pausing true ups has made for an extremely difficult past few months. Furthermore, splitting Enterprise and Commercial how they did has left Commercial in the dust. We feel like second class citizens, not being able to use our PSSM team, etc.

Middle management needs to be improved. I've seen people get forced out while hitting their numbers and it's sad. A lack of consistency and support while in the role is nonexistent.
