Just an Internet search will show the market salary for my role. Elsevier does not even pay the bare minimum market price. Inflation adjustment does not happen even when the Inflation is at 8%. Market adjustment as per the cost of living in some of the countries is not fair and below market rates
The leadership team does not track the deliveries or talk to people in the teams doing the work. They are in a bubble and assume that things are good when they are not. Skip level meetings don't happen with everyone. The team members in have poor opinion of leadership that they don't act on feedback
