I have been very disappointed working at Elsevier. They promise the world for individuals who are supposedly high performers and on the talent list but in reality only the "favourites" get promoted. It is not based on performance or experience.

There is an issue with psychological safety, they are doing training but it's more culture related due to individuals. Training can't fix that.
