
HR needs to understand the current cost of living in the greater Tampa area. I had to negotiate my salary several times in order to have salary that is livable in the current housing market.
The workload is too much for 1 person. The management is very out of touch and hands off. The MLB jersey product development team is extremely chaotic and at sometimes out of control. There needs to be better process set in place by upper management.
I do not believe my department is positive. People in my direct team are constantly drowning in work and there is no plan for improvement from the upper management no matter how man times we tell them. The upper management is very out of touch and hands off.
My department is very segregated, it does not have positive work culture. It is very overloaded with work and we need a lot more headcount which leads to having a negative outlook and no time to build healthy and positive work relationships. The team is also very political and at times toxic.
They should be more involved with their team members. They need to understand what their team members do on a daily basis. Then need to listen to their team members when say they are overloaded. Try to improve the work load. Improve work environment and old school culture with old employees.
