We've made significant strides in the past two years to make it a better place to work. I've had the opportunity to be a part of setting that new standard. This has made the experience positive. It is fast-paced. We are doing a lot which feels a little crazy and rushed sometimes, but overall good.

Lack of leadership follow through and leadership involvement in the details leave middle management with little guidance on how to direct their teams successfully. We need to start rolling up our sleeves and getting into the trenches together.

Approachability and eagerness to help resolve issues. They support an atmosphere of openness and collaboration.

When I'm able to solve a problem for us or for one of our customers

When I am able to accomplish a major task after a lot of hard work.

It allows me to provide a good life for my family and do the things I enjoy outside of work.

We function pretty well together. There are a few gaps in quality with some but overall it's a good team.

I feel like I have real friends here. We all work hard and we try to help when another colleague needs it. Many hands make lite work.

They have vision, but the plan to achieve that vision at a tactical level never seems to be communicated or executed. Leadership needs to get down into the weeds.

I have a great team and my immediate manager supports me in my role. However so many talents and skills that our team possesses are not utilized. We can do better.

The fact that it is shifting from what I perceived as a fear-based and toxic legacy culture to one that is more collaborative and willing to let people experiment and create without the fear.

They are doing what they believe is best for the organization. They care about the people and they want everyone to succeed in their own right while they contribute to the success fo the overall organization.

We are getting destroyed by our competition. We take angry phone calls and emails all day long. Leadership tells itself stories that what is happening is happening to everyone and this just isn't the case. It seems hopeless

It is a culture of good community. Everyone is interested in moving the organization along while remaining focused on what their day-to-day requirements are. People are always willing to jump in and assist when another team member is in need.

The culture at Hoshizaki needs a significant amount of help. People are not held accountable to deliverables and the initiatives seem to be worked on and followed through based on a "is it the right flavor of the month" mentality.

I am paid at the proper level for someone with my skill set and experience. The non-direct compensation benefits are better than I've had anywhere in my career. They are very similar to what corporate jobs were offering two decades ago.
