My overall experience has been great. It is nice to have a quality line to represent...exception to this is E Series units with so many failures. I have found product and innovation to be extremely slow to make changes. Our DB dispensers have needed a water valve added and lost sales of millions.
I have seen many improvements in the company the last few years; however, I would like to see some focus on the customer from the top. We get many complaints regarding being difficult to do business with. Those topics include limits on credit lines, credit card fees, and CSR complaints.
I have had a good experience with Hoshizaki. I do think they limit the "promotions from within" and tend to hire from outside the company while ignoring the current talent they have. I am not a fan of the nepotism hiring of multiple family members; not sure it benefitted us or our goals.
I like their goal orientated agenda
Vacation schedule and days we accrue for vacation.
Vacation days and holiday schedule
I appreciate the responsiveness from our tech support team.
Providing excellent customer service, getting repeat business, and gaining referrals.
They are all awesome working together to achieve our company goals
I like the benefits package, product quality and warranty and tech support.
Our team compliments each other. We each pull from different strengths and weaknesses.
I think Brad and Sally bring the most to the table to be transparent and improve communication with the executive team.
Big fan of our marketing department. Big fan of our technical services lead by Rodd. Warranty department has done a great job.
I would feel better about my compensation if it matched my male counterparts and the new hires in the same position I hold.
My manager is always supportive and respectful. He helps everyday to help us sell more. He is a great leader and manages people well.
When management responds to emails regarding sales situations. RSD should have to put someone in charge of decision making while they are on vacation or traveling.
I enjoy training customers on different products, I enjoy interacting with customers, and appreciate our product quality and tech support department willingness to stand behind quality issues.
I like it when we have parts available for our equipment- they don't mind if it breaks- they do mind if they can't fix it for 6 weeks.
Most positive about the culture is support from warranty and tech support. Cant say enough about Rod Burger and his team. Our quality is best in class!
I liked the way the employees participated in the kids school supply charitable contributions. We should value our employees children's education and all help them when we can.
They have done an amazing job with our marketing department, off to a great start with a new training manager, inventory has improved dramatically, warranty department is best in class.
I know that new hires are being paid more than employees that have been with the company a very long time. This does nothing to incentivize employees to stay loyal to a company. It encourages employee turnover.
Some of the team are very willing to help out, trouble shoot difficult scenarios, answer their phone calls, and actively be part of the team and them some don't. You can tell who doesn't by the way they always have an out-of-office on their email and out of office on their cell phones don't respond
