PKL Services: I'm still relatively new, but the overall experience has been pretty good. Honestly, I don't know what to really expect this being my first civilian job since retiring from the military...but, it's been pretty good thus far.

Aspire Health: Questions asked are misleading since I am a) retired, and b) Aspire just showed up one day as a benefit from my insurance company and I am not even sure how or why. However, the nurse practitioner really helped today because she took a look at something and immediately ordered an antbiotic for me

There's plenty process-related things that I find very frustrating, but I'm very happy to report that I don't see a lot of people issues (toxic behavior, etc). I feel supported, but often confused on what's important right now.

DataStax: I've really enjoyed my 18 months here. There has been some restructuring in the marketing department, but I feel like it's been for the better. Campaigns are doing better and there seems to be more alignment on both long and short term goals.

DataStax: It has been a whirlwind since joining at the start of the primary COVID lockdown in March 2020 with promotion after 18 months and three different roles within 3 different functions. Always something new to work towards yet underpinned by the same mission & values.
6sense: Overall experience has been very meaningful and satisfying as expected by anyone with a growth mindset. Job allows me to multitask and equips me with the powers to make certain decisions which is motivating.

6sense: It's difficult to raise issues. Difficult to bring bad news and ask for help. No meaningful career progression discussions.
InVision: From the first day the team and leaders have used our Principles in work life. It has been wonderful.
InVision: I came from a company with a very toxic culture. They had claimed to be fully inclusive, however, my experiences with large companies and having been in the military made me a target as "one of them" the people on the other side. Here, I feel like part of the team.
Syndigo: Syndigo pays significantly below market rates for key employees.

GSP: Everyone is very welcoming to new hires. The focus on tasks seems to vary a bit from department to department. Overall though, co-workers get focused on what they're supposed to do, and they seem to get it done. That's important. I don't feel like there's a lot of slacking off around here.
Syndigo: There are really intelligent and capable people at Syndigo that I feel lucky to work with. It's fast paced growth company, there's a lot to learn, and it's cool to be a major part of commerce with recognizable brands.
Syndigo: Work life balance is stressful. Team is awesome.

6sense: As a newbie, the first week was a little overwhelming in terms of my lack of exposure to the industry. Blinds.com: I have been trying to get valances replaced for close to a year. They tell me the product is in production but they never come. I have been trying to work on this mass confusion and I think they are just trying to wear me down. I have yet to get the replacements. The valances are all delaminating.
A Place for Mom: Onboarding during the pandemic was a little challenging but the communication and leadership made it better
Xenial: Incompetence is promoted based on friendships, perceived intelligence and personalities instead of skill. People fail and are promoted. People succeed and are laid off. It is not based on quality of work or competence. Leadership is failing. They have no clue who the losers or winners are.
Drift: I have brought more value to my team than most of my colleagues, yet did not receive a raise nor promotion during the last review cycle. We are already severely underpaid compared to industry standards and it does not seem like Drift is invested in retaining their employees.

Risepoint: I have been here only a few months, but I have loved it. The people are fantastic, the work is nice, and they ability to work from home has been a game changer for me in terms of comfort and productivity. As someone who has social anxiety, I feel much better than I did at my last job.
