GRAIL: Approachable, experienced, and humble leadership team
Phenom: Overall, the culture is great. But there is no operational oversight. No processes, and no consistency in delivery to clients. To keep saying "we're a tech company and that's the way it is" to highly matrixed orgs, doesn't work. There's too many points of contacts for clients and that's frustrating

Phenom: I started at Phenom with minimal to no training and joined a department that expressed no interest in getting to know me as a person. I have expressed ways where I could see things improve and have been met with a "that's not how we do things" attitude.
Phenom: It's a work, work, work environment. No respect to boundaries, you are expected to work after-hours and weekends. People are smart but it's not enough. I don't feel connected with my team unless I reach out personally and set-up a meeting to sync. Challenge that will come: office people vs remote.
The Change Company: To date, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the firm and my team. Everyone has been easy to work with, and all share the common goal in the company's social mission. Hope we continue to grow.
Phenom: I've been at Phenom for 4+ years. In the early days it was very chaotic, but challenging. The company has matured, but I appreciate all that I was exposed to in and learned in the early days.
Phenom: since i am not from tier-1 college so i am paid less, but on the other hand the tier-1 college people are paid more here. Even if I do the same amount of work with full hard work and dedication, this is not fair enough.

Phenom: The first day that I started, my mentor quit. I have been left without adequate training and have been forced to pick up the pieces and self-train. Asking questions is challenging because it appears that no one knows the answers. Processes are not defined. Process guides are outdated and useless.
Phenom: A bit awkward at first starting right before a holiday break where the office was closed, but felt like things picked right up first of the year and felt like a valuable part of the team.
