What are some of the best things about your team?

My team are supportive of each other personally and are friends as well as colleagues.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Encouraging creativity beyond roles and not telling staff that no one will be rated above average because the company is trying to avoid pay increases.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I perform an identical role to my closest colleague but have been told that I have no chance of being put forward to promotion to the same level.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Part of my role is seeking external collaborators but they often refuse because of the reputation of Elsevier. I am concerned about our project because my manager has high anxiety and is worried that it will fail.
