Elsevier – I fairly new. I like the team and division I work with. I think across other partner teams we can be more open to change. I think we need to strike a balance between the best of our historic knowledge and the acceptance of new ideas. I believe the benefits package needs to be improved. | Comparably

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I enjoy the work from home environment. The flexibility of the work day is very appealing.

What are some of the best things about your team?

Everyone in my team is willing to help. All are supportive to my training and learning.

What makes you most happy at work?

I enjoy the people I work with. I enjoy the challenge to make a difference in my role. I appreciate my manger and my VP.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

I enjoy the care and support our VP has for the team. My manager cares about me personally. My manager also takes on responsibilities that the top executives should work on as well. My manager and VP are both supportive of me and my role.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

The benefits are so expensive that it would take half of my salary to cover my family. When looking at the coverage my husband has in an industry that is notorious for having bad coverage, Elsevier falls below that. In trying to take the coverage I had previously Elsevier's cost was excessive.
