For the last 7+ years I have really enjoyed working for Elsevier. I feel the work we do really matters and as a company we truly believe in working for the greater good of humanity.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Hands down the people. They breath life into the culture and environment and make me proud to work for Elsevier.
What makes you most happy at work?
Interacting with customers and internal teams. Working with them and doing what I can to make them happy and successful.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The majority of them lead with empathy and encouragement and I feel I can trust them with my mental health and my work.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
To be honest I feel that my compensation is fair for the job I do right now with the experience I have. I do however feel as I gain more experience the opportunity to make more money in my same role is limited.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like that our leadership team is diverse and they put real world (outside of the company) issues at the forefront of many of their presentations to the company. They take the mental health of the employees very seriously. They continue to build a diverse and inclusive safe space for us.
