My experience working with other departments leaves me wanting more from my current department. Management and above often seem to not take much notice in the needs of it's support staff.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The best thing is that we lean heavily on each other for assistance. As well as a very competent and diverse level of skill across members.
What makes you most happy at work?
I am most happy when I can actually do my job instead of assisting with work that should be owned and managed by the business owner.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I do feel undervalued, because about 1/3rd of the work I currently do should be handled by other people in terms of scope. Compensation would be best if it kept up with inflation.
