I am truly proud to say I work for Fanatics. It is growing very fast and has a very rapid pace. I can nit pick a few things but in the overall scope I do feel we are on the right path of being one of the best companies to work for.
What makes you most happy at work?
Feeling appreciated and empowered to make decisions without having to run everything through my manager.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Most people are friendly and understand the importance of each other's role. We all have one common goal in mind which is successfully developing and launching product.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Most people treat each other as the expert of their area. There's a lot of smiling faces around the building which is nice given the stress of the environment.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I would like to see increases competing with the ongoing inflation as it continues to go up but it's not reflecting in our pay. Also new employees are being hired at a higher salary than people who have been here for years.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They truly care about the employees but I would like to see more interaction with the people. We never really hear from them with the exclusion of the president who does communicate through a monthly newsletter or company wide townhall meeting. The better together breakfast is a great step forward.
