At first my experience was great but this past year it has plateaued. I would recommend this job for someone fresh out of college but not for someone that is looking for a challenge or professional development.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The people that I work with-- my athletes.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I think the morale is great at this warehouse! It is a very upbeat and fun group to be around. It feels like a family here.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The leadership team should be more present at ALL sites-- not just the corporate ones. The warehouse employees barely know the GM's, VP's and/or any members of the C-Suite. The corporate offices have unneccessary luxuries while some warehouses barely have enough restrooms.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
I do not feel that I am being challenged professionally. Work is fun but it is not hard. I am looking for the next best thing. I want to stay with the company because I love it but I would like to explore other opportunities.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I have not received a merit increase in over 2 years despite being told that I am doing an excellent job when I continually ask for feedback. Last year when distributing bonuses by manager stated that he "gave everyone the same" which made it seem like he didn't fairly evaluate everyones performance
