An amazing time of growth and learning, accomplishment and surprise at seeing what I can do learning where I can go. The impact on my life working here has been positive to say the least, and I want to see where I can grow in the next 5 years.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
I was just sharing with a colleague that I truly do not know where Id be if I did not start as a temp here 7 years ago. And now I have a meaningful and fulfilling and secure career in L&D! I could not be prouder to work here, and more grateful of the opportunities afforded me by coming here!
What makes you most happy at work?
Completing projects and seeing them work.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
All the efforts they are putting in to growing our culture and employees as our company grows. Leveling up!
What are some of the best things about your team?
We work hard, psychologically it is a safe space to speak, we have a voice in our little team.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
All the great resources provided us for personal, and family well being. Knowing those resources are there is a great stress reliever.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Its moving and growing and our expectations for quality and where we want our company to be are starting to be equal.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It is a psychologically safe space where one can bring authenticity and diversity and it is celebrated not frowned upon. Allows for teammates from all backgrounds to feel valued when working together.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The workload is larger, the team is smaller and we are volutold to complete competing projects, we always get it done, and little recognition for what we have accomplished over the past year and it has not slowed down.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The humor that some of us share. The grow together culture we have. And comradery we have with our expanded team. There is a lot of support from all of teammates, not just the ones we sit with but across all offices. I love the L&D Team at Fanatics!
What do you like best about the leadership team?
We have a little more to go but the communication from leadership has greatly improved since I started here 7 years ago! The fact that we encourage learning and growth and it comes from the top down is the best factors of being here. I am growing and learning more than I ever thought, and its fun!
What makes you most happy at work?
Being given the opportunities to learn new skills and tools any time I want and being encouraged to do so. I have so many new tools in my toolbox that I could take anywhere with me because of this company. I am proud to keep the toolbox here! No other company has done what Fanatics has done for me.
