The best things are working hard, lots of accomplishments, not too much micro management, but mostly working from home.
Pay and resource allocation. It's hard to perform above and beyond when you're under resourced. Not meeting goals is very discouraging.
Not too much micro management which is good. We have way too much to do to thrive under a micro manager.
I put in 10-12 hour days regularly but am underpaid and under resourced. I feel I am doing the job of 1.5 ppl for the price of one underpaid person. If the work was shared with other resources or I was better rewarded I would feel more valued for my contribution.
