HealthStream is a great place to work. The people are wonderful. We have some of the smartest people I've ever met working here, and they are helping us get better with our services and products. I'd like to see better cross department communication and at least a 12 week maternity leave package.

They are mostly transparent and encouraging. They keep an open door policy for conversation and innovation.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We respect one another, celebrate each other's success, and we have genuine friendships. The people are the best part about HealthStream.
What makes you most happy at work?
I love learning new things, and at HealthStream, we are constantly creating or partnering with new products and solutions. That makes it exciting, and it's rewarding to share those with our customers who find value in what we're bringing to the market.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The vision sets the tone in everything we do, so all of our initiatives and work are to improve the quality of healthcare by developing people who deliver care. I believe we all believe in that vision, and it's the reason we are here.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The maternity leave is only 1 week (the paternity leave is also 1 week.) I love working for HealthStream, but that is something I let those who are applying and interviewing know, because one week is not enough and is very different from most other organizations.
