I could work for another company, and possibly get paid more, better benefits, etc. But the people and the culture keep me here. I have autonomy and the freedom to follow what inspires me. I feel like I can really make a change and get the support from all the way at the top.
What makes you most happy at work?
Solving problems, learning from intelligent people around me, gaining inspiration.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Most people are team players, really rooting for the company good as a whole. We are there to be productive, get things done, and also enjoy the time we spend doing it.
What did you like most about the interview process?
The interview was a real conversation about real problems. It offered the ability for me to show my passion about problem solving and show how my brain works, that often a normal question-based interview doesn't provide.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
2020 has given ample opportunity for leadership to show their true colors. I've been blown away at how they have handled and communicated to the organization, crisis after crisis. Honorable, consistent, thoughtful, and progressive. I'm often touched at how intentional they have been.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I have the ability to make change, in our community, culture, products, and my career. Not only do I have the tools and support I need to follow my passions, but I'm often inspired by the culture and people at HealthStream to find those passions.
