Overall it has been a good experience. The past 18 months with inventory has been a nightmare. Inventory should be allocated by first PO in first out...not preferential treatment to Trimark or internet customers. We would like to see a plan on how we are going to have inventory again to sell.
Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
Covid has changed our company forever. Our production can't supply the demand because of the 8 week closure. Our competitor in Mexico- Manitowoc didn't close for 8 weeks and have taken a huge amount of our business by having inventory. I have heard we are down over 3.5 M in national account sales

When I have a list of something in stock available to ship and sell.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Their willingness to help out another team member. They are kind, helpful, and genuine.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
How well they handle the out of stock situation, and preferential treatment that Webstaurant and Trimark get on equipment.
What makes you most happy at work?
When we can make the customer happy with warranty parts, parts for their equipment and inventory to fill their orders- in that particular order.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I feel we have a great team. I like how positive they are in a grim situation with no inventory. I like how they stay positive while management gives away inventory by preference and not first in first out method.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
There is good and bad about the leadership team. I think they have had a huge turnover in employees from senior management on down to the factory floor. I think they have promoted based on the buddy system and not based on employees track record with the company.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We have the best marketing team we have ever had. We have a great HR team. They work together well to produce good results. Would be nice if we could agree to stock a percentage of parts for warranty and existing equipment vs. using them all for production.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I think the compensation isn't equal for same people in same job title in the same state. I think the daily meal allowance for travel is significantly undervalued when you travel and breakfast at the hotel is $25.00 and the allowance is $10. Or dinner in the airport is $40 and the allowance is $30.
