Overall experience with the company has been great excluding some of the things previously mentioned --- complacency as a result of revolving middle mgmt & the loss of quality individual contributors, and leadership issues.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being a part of something larger and knowing that the work I am doing day-to-day, week-to-week and month-to-month is making a positive impact on the company and my colleagues around me.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Execs are transparent and share noteworthy news across the company which is great to see. Most of the company creates a collaborative environment knowing we're all on the same team, working towards the same goals.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Accountability, set expectations/roles, quality leadership, and self-investment. The revolving door of middle mgmt in GSO has continued to create instability and complacency amongst individual contributors that negatively impacts those that want to grow their skills and contributions to Informatica.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
GSO is a revolving door, and has been for many years at the middle management & individual contributor level. Compensation only carries individuals & teams so far before it's a matter of having *quality* leadership in place that can effectively lead their team(s), enabling retention & stability.
