I have been blown away by Smartsheet. I have never felt more welcomed by a group of people, as well as challenged in my work. I find my work fulfilling. The worst part about COVID for me has been not being able to go into the office and see all my coworkers. I love this company so much.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Stock in the company, as well as commuting benefit. Seattle parking is EXPENSIVE.
What makes you most happy at work?
Helping customers solve complex problems to make their work easier. My mind is constantly being challenged, which I need in my work.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Our team is extremely close. We are coworkers, but also I have become good friends with several of them. My coworkers make going to work everyday exciting and enjoyable.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The company regularly puts forth effort to ensure the team feels connected, and are collaborating strongly. It isn't a competitive culture, it's a team working towards the same goal. This helps reduce work anxiety, and increases the sharing of ideas due to a comfortable setting.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They make themselves available to all employees. Mark Mader has said to my team before, "Schedule 30 minutes on my calendar, I want to talk to each you". I think that level of involvement and care for each individual is hard to come by these days.
